I am Nick Reyes, and I’m excited to be serving as the Male Engagement Chair for the Arizona State PTA! I’m a veteran of the Navy after serving on a fast attack submarine, and have been married to my wife Amanda for 12 years now. Together we have 4 children ranging from the age of 2 years to 11 years. My day job as an operator at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station has afforded me the opportunity to volunteer at my children's school, and I really enjoy connecting with the teachers and students when I can be on campus. As a family we enjoy camping and traveling and in my free time I enjoy practicing my blacksmithing skills. I am eager to help other dad’s and male caregivers to see that they can, and should get involved with their local PTAs! I believe that involved parents are the key to a child’s success, at school and at home.
