Congratulations to our April Super Teacher of the Month—Ms. Elizabeth Anderson of Sycamore PTA in Vail, AZ! 

The Sycamore PTA would like to recommend Elizabeth Anderson for the Arizona PTA Teacher of the Month for April. Ms. Anderson not only attends all PTA sponsored events, but she also arrives early to help set up and stays late to help with clean up, without ever being asked. She participates in every activity whether it's dancing with our students or playing out on the playground, Ms. Anderson encourages her students to participate in and out of class and is an advocate for all of her students.

 Ms. Anderson encourages independence in her students and a cooperative classroom environment. She is one of the first ones to arrive at our school and always is always ready with a smile and encouraging word for the students of Sycamore.  She is also a student herself, working on a masters degree while still managing to give the students of Sycamore her undivided attention. 

In addition to being an active participant in our PTA, she also served on the Site Council for the new school being built in our neighborhood. She devotes much of her free time to our school and the new Copper Ridge. We are lucky to call her part of the Stinger Family and our PTA truly believe she is deserving of the honor of Arizona PTA Teacher of the Month
